After 9 hours in the studio mixing and editing I really needed a rest, however I was keen to see the famed Mike LeDonne groovetet….this was my last chance.
I Wasn’t disappointed.

Opening number was a groove version of a Michael Jackson hit.
The band was clocked breaking the speed limit with a rhythm changes tune at quarter note = 406….!!!!!! Featuring a memorable drum solo by Farnsworth trading with himself alternating between sticks and brushes.
An emotional gig for Vincent Herring, as his long time friend and boss Cedar Walton had passed away the day before.
