No mouthpiece

Woops…..

Had an embarrassing gig this weekend.

Arrived at gig and started to set up my horns….flute – check
Baritone sax – check
Tenor sax – check…..Aaargh, but alas, no mouthpiece

What was I to do, my main horn for the gig had no mouthpiece.
I had removed it earlier that day to use on a student sax and had forgotten to put it back on my own horn….

Many phone calls later, I happened to find a great muso friend who was able to collect a tenor mouthpiece from a student a short distance away and bring it to my gig……phew!!!!!

I bet this student Yamaha mouthpiece has never played so many notes in one night!

Lesson learned…..
